Building Maintenance Worker

The Voorheesville Central School District has a full time probationary position for a Building Maintenance Worker at the secondary campus. This is semi-skilled work involving responsibility for independently performing variety of mechanical and other building maintenance tasks.

General Duties

1. Work as Maintenance Worker includes performing semi-skilled work as needed. Examples of work include, but are not limited to: perform semi-skilled work in masonry, carpentry, electrical or painting operations; help install and repair wiring systems and electric fixtures and equipment; repair windows, doors, floors; interior and exterior painting; help to install and repair general plumbing equipment; operate trucks and other motorized equipment. Experience in sports field maintenance, snow removal and lawn care beneficial.
2. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
