Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the operation, maintenance and monitoring of the building automation system, HVAC system including chillers and boiler plant, water treatment systems, fire alarm systems, pneumatic tube system, medical gas and other mechanical/electrical systems or equipment. The incumbent also makes rounds in the mechanical rooms and responds to all trouble calls from various departments throughout the hospital, rectifies or isolates the problems and ensures continuity of their related operation.
- Operate chillers, cooling towers, steam boilers, hot water boilers and their auxiliary and ancillary equipment, promptly respond to their alarms, troubleshoot, fix or isolate them.
- Perform preventive maintenance on air compressors, air dryer, actuators, regulator, valves and control airlines as required
