This role involves building wall panels and trusses in a high-volume manufacturing environment, using hand and power tools to assemble wooden components with metal plates. You will work closely with a team to accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials, contributing directly to the production of structural building elements.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble wall panels and wooden trusses using hand and power tools, including hammers, nail guns, and tape measures.
+ Swing a hammer for extended periods to securely pound metal plates into wooden trusses and ensure structural integrity.
+ Work on wall panel or truss builder tables that are approximately 3 feet high, including frequently stepping or jumping on and off the tables to assemble trusses properly.
+ Read and interpret tape measurements accurately to cut and assemble materials according to specifications.
