Job Description

Summary The purpose of this position is to perform complex financial administrative functions for Health Services Research and Development (HSR&D) at VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS) in conjunction with personnel management. The incumbent is required to work under minimal supervision and resolve problems associated with the work of the office. This position is supervised by the Administrative Officer. Responsibilities The incumbent must be knowledgeable about various Health Services Research & Development (HSR&D) programs and their funding sources. This includes HSR&D Program 824 funds for COIN, Program 824 and General Post Funds for individual research projects, research overhead funds, Program 870 funds for QUERI Programs, Medical Administration funds generated via the VERA model, and other special purpose funds as applicable.
