The opportunity

EY’s QS service offering provides a unique approach in analyzing the complex tax issues associated with the federal and state income tax treatment of research expenditure that are incurred by clients spanning a wide range of industries and geographies.

As a member of the QS-R&D team, you will work closely with engagement teams in the Canada on a variety of clients, including some of the largest global corporations and transactions. In your role, you will perform expenditure data analysis to calculate eligible Qualified Research Expenses (“QREs”) to determine applicable R&D Credit that can be claimed by our clients.

Your key responsibilities

  • Analysing the expenditure data by reviewing client payroll, general ledger expenses, invoices, engagement letters, etc.
