Volkert is seeking a driven, technically strong Bridge Project Engineer to support major transportation and bridge projects across Texas. This is your opportunity if you’re ready to take ownership of meaningful work, mentor rising engineers, and deliver high-visibility TxDOT projects.

This role is ideal for a PE with 6–9 years of experience who is ready to step into greater technical leadership and project influence located in either Houston or Round Rock, TX.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead structural analysis and design for complex bridge and transportation structures
  • Perform and oversee load ratings for bridges of varying types, sizes, and complexity
  • Serve as technical reviewer for calculations and design packages
  • Interface directly with TxDOT and other clients
