Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for overseeing breeder farms and flocks as a Company representative to contracted growers. The role monitors house conditions and bird welfare, provides expert and consultative technical advice, recommends improvements or issue resolutions to farm and/ or flock condition and grower performance, and proposes cost reductions for the company and growers.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • Act as liaison between Company and contract growers providing expert technical advice to growers on company expectations ( building and equipment specifications, litter manipulation, farm sanitation, industry best practices, policies, procedures, bio security, etc.)
  • Using discretion and independent judgement, evaluate condition of grower farm and flock against Company, regulatory, and any legal guidelines; provide recommendations to grower to resolve any unacceptable conditions and follow-up to ensure recommendations have been implem...
