Job Summary

The Breads and Cakes Baker is responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a variety of bread and cake products in accordance with company standards, recipes, and food safety regulations. The role ensures consistent product quality, freshness, and timely production to meet daily demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake breads, cakes, and other bakery products according to approved recipes
  • Measure and mix ingredients accurately following production schedules
  • Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers
  • Ensure quality, taste, texture, and presentation of all baked products
  • Decorate cakes and pastries as required
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure proper results
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
  • Monitor inventory of ingredients and report shortages
