Job Description
Become a key player at Border Paving Ltd. as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. This role focuses on the inspection, maintenance, and repair of essential construction machinery in Alberta.
In this primarily shop-based position, you will troubleshoot various equipment, including trucks, trailers, and off-road machinery. Your skills in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems will be vital, along with performing preventative and emergency repairs as needed. Some fieldwork with a service truck may be required, including occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on trucks and heavy equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic systems
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for all repairs performed
• Use a service truck for field operations when necessary
