Job Description

Position: Bookkeeping Support (QuickBooks Online)

We're looking for a bookkeeping vendor to help with ongoing bookkeeping and month-end close activities. This is not a full-time role—we're looking for a reliable, responsive partner, with availability during US (EST) hours.

What you'll do:

  • On a monthly basis:

  • Match and categorize bank transactions

  • Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts

  • Lock period and results in accounting system

  • On an ad-hoc basis:

  • Manage vendor tax and expense account rules

  • Record manual journal entries as needed
  • Provide general bookkeeping support

Requirements
What We're Looking For

  • Very strong experience in QuickBooks Online
  • Strong understanding of Canadian accounting standards (ASPE, IFRS)
  • Highly responsive, detail-oriented, and reliable
  • Ability to work or overlap with EST hour...
