Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Bookkeeping and Financial Management:
- Maintain the day to day accounting transactions
- Preparing monthly accounts
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Perform complex reconciliations
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for various clients.
- Prepare financial statements to trial balance
- Processing payroll and other related payroll tasks for various clients.
Compliance and Tax Support:
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations and accounting standards
- Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, Super, TPAR, STP finalisations, FBT and other tax filings as required
- Collaborate with accountants for year end reporting and audits.
- SMSF processing
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Address client inquiries promptly
