Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Bookkeeping and Financial Management:

  • Maintain the day to day accounting transactions
  • Preparing monthly accounts
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Perform complex reconciliations
  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for various clients.
  • Prepare financial statements to trial balance
  • Processing payroll and other related payroll tasks for various clients.

Compliance and Tax Support:

  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations and accounting standards
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, Super, TPAR, STP finalisations, FBT and other tax filings as required
  • Collaborate with accountants for year end reporting and audits.
  • SMSF processing

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Address client inquiries promptly
