Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Bookkeeper at a U.S.-based accounting firm. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. This position requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Record and categorize daily financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and accounts on a regular basis.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Prepare and issue invoices, track outstanding payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
