Job Description
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records of the company. The role ensures proper recording of daily transactions, supports financial reporting, and assists in maintaining compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
II. Duties and Responsibilities
A. Financial Recording & Documentation
- Record daily financial transactions including sales, collections, expenses, disbursements, and adjustments.
- Maintain general ledger, journals, and subsidiary ledgers accurately and timely.
- Prepare and organize financial documents such as receipts, invoices, vouchers, and statements of account.
B. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Monitor accounts payable and ensure timely processing of payments to suppliers and vendors.
- Track accounts receivable, collections, and outstanding balances.
