We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily financial operations for a contract-to-hire opportunity based in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating billing activity, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with QuickBooks, Excel-based reporting, and core bookkeeping functions across receivables, reconciliations, and general ledger activity.


Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records by processing daily bookkeeping transactions and ensuring supporting documentation is complete and organized.

• Record journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end and year-end close activities to support timely and accurate reporting.

• Oversee accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, billing follow-up, and communication with clients to clarify account questions.
