Preparing accounts and financial statements for sole traders and audit-exempt clientsMaintaining books and records using accounting softwareAssisting with income tax, corporation tax and VAT returnsLiaising with clients to complete accounts and tax workProcessing payrollSupporting the Practice Manager with client service deliveryWhat you will need
Degree or bookkeeping qualificationMinimum of two years’ experience in an accounting practiceGood knowledge of accounting standardsProficiency in MS Office and accounting/payroll software (BrightPay, Surf, Xero, Sage, Thesaurus)Ability to manage deadlines and work independently as part of a teamStrong interest in learning and career progressionWhat we are looking for
