Liaising internally with other departments regarding client matters

Key responsibilities include:

  • contacting HMRC and other professional firms
  • processing and filing quarterly VAT returns
  • assisting team members

Personal and team responsibilities:

  • working towards personal targets on a monthly basis
  • ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

Requirements:

  • experience with VAT preparation and bookkeeping is essential
  • strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • thorough knowledge of making tax digital rules
  • knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks etc.
