Job Description
Mars Food is hiring a Shift Manager in Bolton, ON, to enhance team performance and operational excellence. This role involves 12-hour rotating shifts and promotes a culture of safety and quality.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide a team of around 10 associates in manufacturing BEN'S ORIGINAL™ products. Your focus on operational management and staff development will drive performance improvements across shifts. You will leverage Lean principles to enhance production efficiency and implement effective problem-solving strategies within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee production processes and ensure product quality
• Foster a culture of safety and efficiency
• Lead problem-solving activities focused on minimizing losses
• Support continuous improvement through Lean tools
• Ensure accurate daily system transactions at shift's end
