Job Description
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Minimum of 12 years' experience as a Boilermaker Assistant within the mining industry.
- Previous underground mining experience will be advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of welding, fabrication and mechanical repairs.
- Experience assisting with maintenance of mining equipment and steel structures.
- Valid Medical Certificate of Fitness for underground work.
- Basic understanding of the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA).
- Ability to work shifts and overtime when required.
- Physically fit and capable of working in underground mining conditions.
- Assist qualified Boilermakers with the maintenance, repair and fabrication of underground mining equipment and infrastructure.
