Boiler Operator 2nd Class

The ideal candidate will safely and efficiently perform the duties of a Second-Class Boiler Operator for equipment in the K1 Boiler Room area and operate the Central Control Panel for mill operations on an assigned shift.

What you’ll do

• Inspect, repair, install, adjust, and maintain boilers, refrigeration and related auxiliary equipment in the boiler room area.
• Understand and operate the milling circuits under your control (compactors, screening, and dispatch).
• Follow guidelines in the Process Operating Manuals.
• Make boiler water tests, analyze and make appropriate adjustments and addition of chemicals.
• Start, stop and operate assigned mill operating circuits.
