Job Description
Develop BMC Firmware, encompassing design, coding, debugging, and leveraging knowledge of server hardware architecture and system design. Maintain and troubleshoot existing systems, addressing customer/FAE inquiries and concerns. Analyze BMC firmware specifications and configuration requirements, ensuring reliability and compatibility. Conduct testing, including unit tests, to ensure firmware quality. Collaborate with cross-team validation organizations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in Linux OS with experience in Linux driver and application development. Familiarity with BMC firmware vendors and code structures, with the ability to define and identify specific BMC firmware requirements. Knowledge of IPMI 2.0 specification.
