Building Tech Support GR 5-12

Position Purpose
Under the general supervision of the Director of Technology, to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all assigned district hardware/software systems.

Essential Performance Responsibilities
  • Assist district staff and students with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of hardware and software
  • Offer daily operations and systems support to staff and students
  • Verify functionality of hardware and software components
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone
  • Assist staff and students with hardware/software problems and answer their questions
  • Track inventory and work progress in district helpdesk/asset management software
  • Additional Duties
    Performs other related tasks as assigned.

    Equipment
    Uses personal computers, scanners, printers and related equipment.
