Job Description

We are looking for a BLASTER MACHINE OPERATOR to join our Ft. Payne, AL  plant. As a Blaster Machine Operator with Contech you will contribute to Americas essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.

    Responsibilities:

  • Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
  • Blasts bridges inside blast booth to remove mill scale and prep steel surface for paint.
  • Perform operator maintenance on booth and spray hose.
  • Check all finished work for obvious defects prior to final inspection.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in clean, orderly condition.
  • Other duties as assigned.
