Join our Open Pit Operations crew! We are on the hunt for a Blast Crew member. This role assists with ensuring all Open Pit Drill and Blast activities are compliant with production targets and are completed in a safe and efficient manner. This is a great opportunity to start or continue your career in mining, with opportunities to develop long‑term, gaining Shotfiring tickets and Blast certifications along the way!

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Achieve a pit permit for mine and safely operate vehicles in the mining area
• Assist with ensuring the security of the magazines.
• Ensure each blast area is correctly prepared and controlled during all loading and blasting activities, under the guidance of the shotfirer
• Follow all site procedures as required
