Overview

Your Opportunity: As a member of the Clinical Engineering North Zone team, the Biomedical Equipment Technician II is responsible for the management of technology including technical support, repairs and preventative maintenance for complex medical equipment and systems to ensure patient and staff safety and reliability. Key responsibilities include prioritization, scheduling, and management of assigned workload; ensuring equipment meets safety, performance and technical standards and that it is performing to clinical specifications; and preparing appropriate documentation. Operation of the Clinical Engineering computerized maintenance management system (CMMS/eFacilities) and using computer skills for inputting and retrieval of equipment history, generating work orders and reports.
