Bin Truck Operator (Edmonton)

The Edmonton Waste Management Centre (EWMC) – part of the City of Edmonton – is looking for a Bin Truck Operator to join the Waste Services Branch. The successful candidate will operate a tandem‑axle dump truck for transportation of materials and equipment to and from job sites within the EWMC and support site operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate tandem‑axle dump truck for transportation of materials and equipment to and from job sites.
• Ensure safe transfer of materials.
• Perform light maintenance inspections on trucks (checking oil, tires, air brakes) and complete required documentation.
• Follow policies and procedures of all facilities receiving material.
• Adhere to City of Edmonton Occupational Health & Safety Standards and Guidelines.
