Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming calls from patients and doctors' room.
- Give out information telephonically or by e-mail about trading hours, testing sites and prices of tests that the organisation offers.
- Transfer calls to correct departments.
- Take messages for staff that are unavailable.
- Capture patient details on Chiron when required.
- Process all request forms on GoodX and contact patients to enquire when the tests are not covered by medical aid.
- Compiling and maintaining records of business transactions.
- Maintain files and records so that they remain updated and easily accessible.
- Monitor of stock supplies and report when there are shortages.
- Assist with account reconciliations.
- Report status of accounts and discrepancies.
- Working with age analysis (settling of accounts).
