Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming calls from patients and doctors' room.
  • Give out information telephonically or by e-mail about trading hours, testing sites and prices of tests that the organisation offers.
  • Transfer calls to correct departments.
  • Take messages for staff that are unavailable.
  • Capture patient details on Chiron when required.
  • Process all request forms on GoodX and contact patients to enquire when the tests are not covered by medical aid.
  • Compiling and maintaining records of business transactions.
  • Maintain files and records so that they remain updated and easily accessible.
  • Monitor of stock supplies and report when there are shortages.
  • Assist with account reconciliations.
  • Report status of accounts and discrepancies.
  • Working with age analysis (settling of accounts).
