Bilingual Technical Writer (Ammunition & Explosives)

Location: Gatineau, Quebec (NCR) – Hybrid but mostly remote

Key Responsibilities

  • The Technical Writer will possess comprehensive knowledge of Canadian, NATO, and other allied Ammunition & Explosives (A&E); and will create and review English technical documentation, and modify and verify French transcripts of technical documents for subsequent approval.
  • Analyze written materials to summarize and generate technical content for official publications, including specifications (technical Statements of Work/Requirements), notes, drawings, manuals, user guides, and related documentation.
  • Modify and verify translated A&E technical orders or other A&E technical documentation in both English and French.
  • Validate, compile, and produce technical A&E documentation—including specifications, equipment and system data lists, and drawings—incorporating approved changes, verifying accuracy...
