Function: BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) Control Engineer
The position is responsible for the efficient, reliable, and safe operation of BESS and ancillary equipment in accordance with work instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Control Room Operation
    • Implement start‑up, shutdown, and loading of BESS in coordination with diesel generating units and auxiliaries.
    • Monitor BESS operating systems and take corrective action for any deviation from standard limits.
    • Isolate BESS for safety and emergency purposes when needed.
    • Perform corrective measures as instructed by the team leader via remote control facilities or through relevant personnel.
    • Execute proper implementation of PTW in accordance with the safety policy.
