Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Location: Thatcham

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £90 - £105 per day

A welcoming and supportive school in Thatcham is looking for a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This role involves working closely with pupils who require additional behavioural support to engage positively with learning.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils who display challenging behaviour in and out of the classroom
  • Help implement behaviour management plans and intervention strategies
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning
  • Support emotional regulation and conflict resolution
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils
  • Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
