Behaviour Support Assistant – Sittingbourne
Full‑time employment, starting in September, temp‑to‑perm contract. Rates: £95‑£100 per day.
Role Overview
Working primarily with children with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist children with SEN to meet learning and behavioural targets.
- Support teachers, parents/carers and external agencies in monitoring progress.
- Participate in ongoing training in behaviour management and CPD. If required, undertake accredited CPD leading to accreditation.
Requirements
- Experience as a Behaviour Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant in a school or pastoral setting.
- Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, behavioural needs).
- Experience working with young offenders or in an intervention role (desirable).
- Either hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service.
