Behaviour Support Assistant

Primary Special School, Maidenhead (KS1 & KS2).

ASAP start.

Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with a student with significant behavioural, emotional and mental health needs.
  • Support children with mental health difficulties, challenging behaviour and learning disabilities such as Autism.
  • Implement behaviour management plans and provide support during school days.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, pastoral support and external professionals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduates welcomed; a degree is not necessary.
  • Experience working with children, including youth work, support work, mental health support and SEN.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills.
  • Desirable: Restraint training.
  • Passionate, enthusiastic, dedicated and confident support for children’s education.

Salary

£90‑£110 per day.
