Behaviour Support Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, calm, and resilient individual to join our behaviour support unit - The LINK. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils who may experience behavioural, social, or emotional challenges, helping them to engage positively with their learning and school environment. Success in this position is less about having all the answers and more about being a consistent, supportive presence for young people who need guidance, encouragement, and structure throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities

• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
• Support students in managing their behaviour and emotions both inside and outside the classroom.
• Help pupils refocus and re-engage with learning following periods of dysregulation or challenging behaviour.
