Job Purpose
The Behaviour Support Worker is responsible for providing person-centred, safe, and consistent support to individuals living in residential services, including those who may present with behaviours of concern. The role focuses on promoting dignity, independence, wellbeing, and community inclusion, while ensuring care delivery is compliant with HIQA National Standards and TUSLA regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Person-Centred Support
Support individuals in line with their individual care plans, person-centred plans, and Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs).
Promote choice, independence, and participation in daily routines and decision-making appropriate to capacity and age.
