JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN

DEPARTMENT: CLINICAL

REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR OF CLINICAL SUPPORT STAFF

SUPERVISES: N/A

Qualifications

• Entry Level Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science, CRC, or CRSS preferred; one year experience in alcohol/drug treatment with direct patient contact preferred. Candidates must possess the ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate a basic understanding of the principles of chemical dependency recovery. Maintain records and have good communication skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must be able to walk within the facility and on the grounds of the facility for approximately one (1) mile per every eight (8) hour shift.
