In this role, you'll work closely with operational teams and technical staff, reporting to the GM Recycling and Waste Centers. Your focus will include exposure risk assessments, safety documentation, and entitlement to influence safety standards across sites. You'll also facilitate incident investigations to uphold safety integrity and provide critical training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safety documentation and emergency response planning
• Investigate incidents to determine root causes
• Conduct safety training sessions and deliver communications
• Liaise with Joint Health and Safety Committees for best practices
• Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations
