Basque Linguist

We are seeking a native Basque (Spain) linguist to support a short-term linguistic project focused on pronunciation and phonetic transcription. The selected contractor will assist with validating and transcribing Basque words and tokens to support the development of speech technology.

• Workload: ~24 hours total
• Timeline: February 16 – March 20

• Provide accurate pronunciation guidance for Basque words and tokens
• Perform phonetic transcription following the provided guidelines
• Ensure linguistic accuracy and consistency

• Background in linguistics, phonetics, or related field preferred
• Attention to detail and ability to follow annotation guidelines
• Reliable communication and availability within the timeline
