Summary

  • A patient care extern will participate in the Externship with a designated RN peer mentor for a patient, or a group of patients, for a designated time frame and provides care for these patients through therapeutic use of self, the patient care/problem solving or nursing process and through other health care team members.

  • Education Required: Currently enrolled in an accredited Nursing Program and have completed 2 semesters of nursing school AND approval from a Clinical Instructor from their current program
