Role Overview
We're hiring a Banquet and Event Operations Assistant Manager to join our team at the Crest Hotel and Convention Centre in Prince Rupert, BC. This role has day-of operational authority across banquets, group functions, and convention centre events, serving as the operational counterpart to the Group and Event Sales Manager and executing events from client delivery to post-event reset.
Responsibilities
- Exercise day-of operational authority over banquets, group functions, and convention centre events.
- Manage the hiring and termination of banquet and event staff.
- Provide day-of service leadership and serve as the on-site point of contact for clients.
- Coordinate client and event staff communication and ensure seamless event execution.
