**Job Title: Bander / Material Handler**
**Job Description**
This role supports the bar department on an off-shift by performing a combination of material handling, banding, and basic saw machine operation. You will be cross-trained in three key positions, working with steel rods and coils, operating forklifts, and completing simple data entry to keep production flowing safely and efficiently.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate a saw machine by moving bundles of steel rods to the machine table using a sit-down forklift and preparing them for cutting.
+ Cut the back of steel rod bundles and release the rods so the machining table can feed them into the machine.
+ Monitor the machine as it sizes the rods and ensures the robot correctly places finished pieces into totes.
+ Enter accurate information such as weight and steel type into the computer system for each job, performing simple data entry tasks.
