Job Description

Pulse is currently looking to recruit a Band 7 Psychological Therapist for an in-service position based in Sunderland on a temporary six-month locum contract. The ideal candidate would be a psychologist practitioner with HCPC registration or have completed a PG Diploma in High-Intensity Therapy (BABCP Accreditation Required). The service would prefer those with Physical Health and Eating Disorders experience and will look to hire part-time and full-time workers. They will consider a hybrid working pattern.”

To be considered for this role applying therapists must have the following:

  • A postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Full BABCP accreditation
  • Completed LTC training
  • Extensive Mental Health experience
  • The ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients
  • Be comfortable providing 1:1 or group consultation (face-to-face and via telephone)
