Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily production of bread, pastries, and baked goods, ensuring consistently high standards of quality, taste, and presentation while meeting agreed production schedules.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of bakers through clear direction, hands‑on support, regular briefings, and constructive feedback to drive performance and continuous improvement.
  • Actively participate in the full baking process including preparation, mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking, ensuring strict adherence to recipes, traditional methods, and food safety standards.
  • Manage operational efficiency by monitoring workflow, resolving production or equipment issues promptly, maintaining a clean and well‑organised bakery, and ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations.
