Overview
A Baker is the one who is responsible in the production of banh mi/bread/baguette/and sweetened breads sold in the store. He/she helps in preparing and developing baked product. They measure and mix raw ingredients, bake and decorate items, and ensure that all raw and finished goods adhere to quality and food safety standards. Additionally, the baker must make sure that hygiene is maintained at all times during the baking process.
Responsibilities
- Reads and follows recipes
- Prepares ingredients to be used in baking as required by the recipe ensuring proper food safety handling.
- Baking of menu items in cooperation with other kitchen staffs
- Ensures all food and other ingredients are properly stored.
- Maintains high standards of food safety and personal hygiene
