Job Description
- Install, configure, and implement Veritas NetBackup and Flex Appliances in client environments.
- Conduct health checks, performance tuning, patch management, and upgrades of backup infrastructure.
- Define and implement backup and recovery policies, including SLA-based retention strategies.
- Integrate NetBackup with various OS platforms, applications (e.g., Oracle, SQL, Exchange), and cloud targets.
- Perform capacity planning and ensure sufficient storage for backup jobs.
- Troubleshoot backup failures, job delays, and media issues and provide timely resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and implementation reports.
