Backup Engineer (IBM Spectrum Protect)

Location: Geneva area, Switzerland (on-site)
Engagement: Full-time, long-term assignment (service contract)

Seniority: 8+ years in enterprise backup & recovery
Language: French or English (team environment)

The role

You will operate and evolve a large-scale enterprise backup platform based on IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM). Your mission: ensure availability, performance and security of backup services and associated tooling, and keep platforms compliant with internal standards. You’ll oversee daily operations, incident/request handling, upgrade planning, documentation, and risk management for backup services used across a complex environment.
