Job Description:

As Backup Administrator you are given tasks within implementing, monitoring, and maintaining our 2 Backup solutions, providing backup services for all company's applications. Solutions used are IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM) and Commvault.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Expert knowledge in Commvault backup solution
  • Configuration, monitoring, administration, and maintenance of backup environment including Backup servers, backup storage, VTL, network configuration and clients
  • Configuration of backup solution on requested servers
  • Performing standard and test restores of requested files, folders, databases, and virtual machines
  • Performing disaster recovery tests
  • Having at least basic knowledge of Windows and Unix OS administration
  • Having at least basic knowledge of Bash, Shell and/or PowerShell scripting
