Our client in Pemba is looking for a Backhoe loader Operator to join their team for a job vacancy within the Oil & Gas Sector.


Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain backhoe to excavate dirt, rock, sand, and other minerals.

  • Responsible for the efficient working condition of the backhoe. This includes Performing routine maintenance including minor servicing, maintenance, and cleaning of the backhoe.

  • Responsible for alerting the serviceman of any significant problems.

  • Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.

  • Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.

  • Check fuel supplies at sites to ensure adequate availability.
