The Backend Engineering team is the foundation of the Digital Engineering team, specializing in Javascript stacks and PHP seamlessly deployed on AWS infrastructure. They build and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable backend systems that power CelcomDigi's digital services, working closely with Digital Architects, Product Owners, and other engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Development and Maintenance: Design and maintain backend systems using PHP, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Cloud Infrastructure: Architect and optimize AWS services, focusing on cost-efficiency and security.
API Development: Create RESTful APIs to enable seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
Collaboration: Work with Digital Architects and Frontend Engineering for cohesive end-to-end solutions.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Identify bottlenecks and resolve issues to ensure system uptime.
