Backend Engineer

On behalf of one of our clients, we're looking for
Senior, Team Lead, and Principal Backend Engineers
to build and scale high-traffic, real-time backend systems in a modern .NET environment.

These roles are full-time and
candidates need to be based in either Greece or Portugal.

Senior Backend Engineer

You will:

• Design, build, and own backend services in a microservices, event-driven architecture.
• Work with real-time features, asynchronous messaging (e.g. RabbitMQ/Kafka), and production-scale systems.
• Take features from design to production: coding, testing, monitoring, performance, and incident handling.
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and other teams in an agile, in-house product environment.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and contribute actively to code reviews and design discussions.
• Mentor other engineers and share best practices within the team.
