Backend Engineer

UserWise is developing a new mobile game based on a globally recognized entertainment IP, built with a modern hybrid-casual / social-metagame foundation.

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to own and evolve the server-side systems that power progression, social features, LiveOps, and live reliability. This role partners closely with the Technical Director and gameplay engineers to build scalable, secure, and flexible backend services that support a live, content-driven mobile game.

This is a hands-on role on a lean team. You will help take the backend from early foundations through MVP, soft launch, and live operations - prioritizing clarity, scalability, and developer velocity over over-engineering.
