Backend Developer

The Mission

We are currently running a TypeScript monolith, this will change over time. You will work alongside our Senior Full Stack engineer to simplify complex logic and improve system performance.

The Challenges You Will Solve:

● Refactoring & Optimization: You will identify bottlenecks and write code that runs faster and leaner. You will collaborate and break down our existing monolith into cleaner, modular microservices.

● Database Performance: We rely heavily on PostgreSQL. You will be responsible for designing better table relationships, writing efficient queries, and ensuring our data schema makes sense.

● Safety & Security: You will implement strict security standards and manage complex data transactions. You must ensure that financial and user data is handled with ACID compliance—no race conditions, no corrupted data.
